I had my Informative Speech today and it went well.
Somewhat relieved that it's done.
My memory is starting to fade and it seems I can't to remember things good enough anymore.
Maybe I'm just getting old.

Life has been really busy. My brother is still in California for his IVF and probably won't be able to come home until Summer.

Typically, this time of season is the most busy. So, I have a few additional workers to be on call just in case the business gets busy. It's better to be prepared then not.

I was thinking last night about my future and where I'll be in the next few years.
I had the chance to meet the mother of an employee at Expedia. I hope I can get an internship through him.

I also had the chance to meet Joe Daues and worked with him on his project. Hopefully, he can help me with furthering my network and get more internships through my pursuit of CIS/ACC for CPA.

For whatever reason, unfortunate things typically happen on the most important days. I had a speech sign-up today that I was hoping to sign on the third day. Came to class nearly 20 minutes late. Missed the sign up hour and now have to give the speech on the first day. How cruel is that?

Plagerizing! - Tri Ha 03062013

1. Give four reasons why using MLA is important. 1 Explain what the Modern Language Association is and why it created a standardized style for writing papers. As your first reason, explain that MLA style was created as a way to help students create clear and consistent writing. It is also used to ensure that sources are properly documented with in-text citations and a list of sources or works cited page. Direct students to the MLA website or provide them with a copy of the MLA Handbook for more information about what the MLA is and why it was founded. 2 Stress the importance of consistency. Explain to your students that one of the reasons for using MLA format is that a consistent format helps to improve the style and authority of their writing. Moreover, a consistent style allows readers to focus on their ideas and personal insights, instead of being distracted by an unorganized attribution of sources. 3 Model MLA-formatted papers for them. Show your students an example of a paper written in MLA format and point out how its individual components reflect the correct format. Address the physical format of the paper, its organization, punctuation and adherence to other conventions, such as the ways it attributes sources, both within the text and at the end of the paper on the works cited page. 4 Emphasize the point that students who go on to college will most likely be required to write papers in MLA format. This is one of the most compelling reasons for learning MLA style, especially for students who are planning to study fields such as English, foreign languages, literary criticism or cultural studies. Becoming familiar with writing and presenting research in MLA format while still in high school will help students achieve success when writing papers in college. What is the purpose of using a consistent format? The content of each unit is built around a carefully crafted daily routine familiar to all Pre-K teachers and caregivers. Themes, skills, and concepts are developed through quality children's fiction and nonfiction trade book classics. The consistent format and features in every unit makes it easy for teachers to use and children to learn. 3. According to the PowerPoint, what would be the consequence of plagiarizing? Charges of academic dishonesty brought against a student shall be made in writing by the instructor to the Provost's Office. The Provost's Office maintains a database of plagiarism offenses and a file of all plagiarism charges. When an offense has been committed, the Provost's Office sends the student a copy of the plagiarism policy and a letter of the action taken, and informs the Academic Department Chair, the Academic Advisor, and the course instructor of any plagiarism charges. Academic dishonesty is a serious offense and may result in the following sanctions: 1st offense: Failure of the assignment in which the action occurred. 2nd offense: Failure of the class in which the action occurred. 3rd offense: Expulsion or permanent dismissal from the University. 4. Where can you find answers about how to properly cite in MLA format? The way to cite quotes within your papers is like this: "Quote" (author and/or page). The punctuation always comes last, whether it's a period, comma or question mark. I'm not sure if you're asking about citing in your Works Cited page, but try this website: http://owl.english.purdue.edu/owl/resour… I'm sorry, I misread that. If you don't have a specific author, you can simply put the name of the website in the parenthesis. For example, "quote" (Yahoo Answers). This way you're still giving credit to your source. 5. Name two purposes of a works cited page. A Works Cited page names all of the sources that were used in an essay and also gives credit to the source or sources. A Works Cited page also serves as a reference to the sources that were used.

Once upon a time, there was this big brown Panda. This Panda was very brown. However, he didn't want to be brown. So, one day, he met a man named Michael Jackson. Mr. Jackson said, "You are brown my deliciously cute looking Gorilla bear." Panda replied, "I'm not a Gorilla bear Mr. Jackson." They argued for two years until the Panda bear shed his brown fur and became a Gorilla bear. The Gorilla bear said, "You are right Mr. Jackson. I am a Gorilla bear. Mr. Jackson replied, "Damn right you are, you Panda bear you." The Gorilla bear didn't want to go through another two years arguing over something so trivial. So, he gave Mr. Jackson some candy. To Mr. Jackson, it was only a ordinary candy, but Mr. Jackson didn't know that the devious Gorilla bear has implemented a substance called, "White-out", which changes the user into a different color. Unknowingly, Mr. Jackson ate the candy. Instantaneously, Mr. Jackson turned purple. "What is this!", Mr. Jackson yelled.

Holocaust Summary

Tri Ha Larry Neuburger English 101-104 27 January 2013 Summary Holocaust Summary Being a part of that auditorium when she gave her speech was a moment in my life I’ll never forget. It was as though we were a part of her history as she relived ever bit and piece of what happened that very day when she first entered her childhood years in a concentration camp. She gave vivid details and left our imagination to do the wonders of our horrid past. Everything about the speech was amazing, but what really caught my attention was her conclusion. It was as though the words that left her mouth so rapidly was that of the Fountain of God, as truth bewildered us all. The youth of today society has long forgotten the true meaning of life and lost in their ambitions of necessity. Hunger, not for themselves, but for the entertainment of others. I, too, have fallen victim to such and have lost the ways of success. But, as I write this today, I fully awaken from the slumber that has held me back for so many years of failure. To her, life was a gift, not a right. To her, giving up was death itself. She has inspired me to fulfill my dreams and never give up. No matter how hard it is, no matter how hard it might be, and no matter how many times I fail.

I received my pair of Clipless Shimano R133L road bike shoes yesterday evening and was planning on riding my bike to school this morning. From the looks of it, the Shimano R133L is a lot better than my old pair. We're looking at carbon composite soles, extra stiff and ventilated, and mechanized strap system for better firmer fitting.

Sensory Language

A quarter pass 5:00p.m, I started the grill and cooked some food.
Once the superbowl started, a couple of my boys brought over some bombay.
Little pass half-time, my boys invited woman over.
Next thing I saw was the woman driving away with my car and my money.
Now I'm in class thinking, bombay is bad for you. Hennessy is better and Ray Lewis approves this message.

I gotta say, its only been the second day of class and Mr. Neuburger has been amazing. I've had a lot of great professors but Mr. Neuburger seems very understanding and professional at his work. Very laid-back guy. He actually cares about the students! Seeing how I'm trying to get things situated with my life. Getting an A in this class will probably motivate me to do better things. I work full-time, but an excuse doesn't seem to be viable at this point. I've made excuses my whole life. So, I don't plan on doing that now. I'll probably put more time accomplishing my goals this year and zone out clubbing, drinking and hanging out with friends to a minimum. Bodybuilding to the max! Gonna do carb-cycling this next 10 weeks to further my cutting phase. To date, I've lost 10 lbs. in the last 10 weeks. Hopefully none of it is muscle mass. After this 20-week cutting phase, I'll probably do a 9-12 week bulking phase before Summer. 6-pack here we come!

Introduction

About Me:

Since I have some free time this Sunday. I might as well go first.
For those planning on reading this my name is Tri. Its actually pronounced T. Like T-Pain without the Pain.
I'm from the southern coast of Asia called Vietnam. Politically Communist, but more capitalist if you ask me.
My family moved to the United States in 1992 and lived in Missouri ever since. I come from a family of five, not including my parents. I have three older sisters and one older brother. Being the youngest in the family, I wasted majority of my youth partying and drinking alcohol. Now that reality has finally settled in, I'm ready to finish what I started. My dream was to be an FBI agent working for the government, but I can settle for a steady job with a Bachelor Degree in Chemistry.
The reason I posted this picture was pretty simple. I love cooking. After picking up my old hobby of bodybuilding. Cooking my meals to reach daily calorie intake or my macros has been a habit. I typically check Foodgawkers.com for recipes.
